Yippeee yippeee yippeeeeee – at last!!!! Now we’ve been given the absolute, cast-iron, health-giving excuse for refusing to eat cucumbers/green leaves/tomatoes – salad!!!! Ecoli !!!!– Who would have guessed???
Last week we were warned against consuming more than one portion of red meat per week. This week salads have received their death knell.
So – no rabbit food, nothing carnivorous – that sounds like chips have, finally, been given the government gold seal of approval!!!
I’m just sitting here singing ‘I told you so‘ quietly to myself. But to think I’ve been duped by the whole organic campaign, subverted into acceptance of raw over cooked/processed foods…..(chips)
…..And to think of all those lunch hours when I’ve eschewed the gentle pleasures offered by a good, life-affirming fish supper in favour of the conscience salving blandness of a green salad, crisp bread and hummus. Oooohh, if I’d known then what I know now. Or if I’d just gone with my gut instinct then.
What a lot of time/chips I have to make up for!!! Bring it on!!!!
